What do you all think of Kate on Jon and Kate plus 8?
I really liked her in the beginning, but after watching the Jon and Kate plus 8 Go Green! episode, she really ticked me off.
She was so rude to Steve, and it's like she didn't even care what anyone was doing. All she cared about was her baking.
What do you think about her?
I like the show. I like Jon. I like the children. I can't stand Kate anymore. She is mean to Jon AND the children. Yes she has a lot of children and can get frustrated but it is no excuse for being mean. I am a preschool teacher and things can get chaotic at times but I am never mean and do not have to yell to get my classroom under control. Do you remember the episode where they got the dogs? That was the episode I just lost it. Kate was horrible. Here was this big surprise that they were going to tell the children but she completely ruined that moment by saying "For Christmas, and don’t expect any more presents, we are getting two dogs but you can't name them!" Joel says to name him “Scott” and Kate says “No. It’s a good thing we didn’t let you name them". Fine to not want the children to name the dogs but they could have worked it out so the children believed they contributed. Then once the dogs are home and they do what puppies do and pee on the floor Kate loses it and says “He’s got poop on him. He’s nasty. He’s going back and I’m not kidding.” She threatens the children by saying the dogs go back!!? No other word for that but cruel. Those children are just going to end up resenting those dogs.
I don’t think there is one episode of Jon & Kate where Kate hasn’t been or said something very unkind or rude. I really hope Kate starts to watch herself on their episodes. Hopefully she will see soon how condescending and mean she is and change her tone. No wonder no one in her family speaks to her anymore.
