The masterpiece
Of this Holiday

H.E.R.....this is a poem of good wishes for all, it is not meant to be a 'great' poem. I know that, and so should you, whoever you are.
Any ex-service men /women will relate to this poem not as you meant it, but the home coming on leave "furlough" in your terms, to the long forgotten smell of home.
It happened to me every time and each time it was new. The smell even of crisp semi starched sheets. I t became a re-awakening.
