Are you using Brita or PUR's faucet filter? What do you think of them?
Seems they are just simply filters with active carbon and have little effect in removing bacteria and heavy metals. If a better effect faucet filter is available (but with a higher price point of course) would you go for it?
Yep that's pretty much all they are. Most people skimp on changing the filters as often as they should also but I think they work well, I use the Brita pitcher with the filter and that works great. I wouldn't spend any more money than I am spending now I think the tap water is good but it does taste a little fresher with the Brita.
