Your question sounds a lot like a homework assignment. Regardless, generating the code for the project would require multiple files and trying to post them here isn't realistic. Y!A doesn't do a very good job for displaying code (loses all formatting, no color coding, etc...).
Ultimately you'll want to work with a DateTime object where one represents the expiration date, the other "now". Your form will display the difference between those objects.
