Electric or Gas Crepe Makers?
I will be assisting to teach a sweets/dessert class this coming fall and I would like to incorporate Crepes as part of the French lesson. I am planning to purchase a crepe maker for this and future classes. (I have eliminated the traditional crepe pans, so please do not recommend that.) Thanks in advance!
1.Does anyone know the pros and cons between an electric or gas crepe maker?
2.And what's the difference between a standard vs frequently used (luxury line) of crepe makers?
3.Are all crepe makers made out of cast iron? If not, which type should I use?
4. So what should I look for when selecting a crepe maker?

Crepe makers are a waste of money, I have always used a small nonstick saute pan and have never had a problem. If your using it to teach a class, let me know where so I know not to hire anyone from your class for my pastry kitchen.
