Is it worth buying a mini fridge?

I've just bought an espresoo machine for my room (it can't go in the kitchen), which I'd like to use to make a cappuccino each morning. However obviously to make a cappuccino I need fresh milk, but I have no way of keeping it in my room. My friend suggested a mini fridge, but i've read they can be really noisy, and so would it be disruptive when I'm trying to sleep?! Does anyone have any other ideas?

it's cheaper and noise free to simply get a small ice bag/ice box. You could refresh the ice blox (those synthetic blue blocks you freeze and then use to cool the insulated bag or box) daily in the freezer downstairs on rotation that will keep your milk nice and cold, be easier to store, be a load cheaper and totally quiet icon smile

Otherwise you could buy (or steal from a coffee shop/cafe) loads of those little UHT milk sachets but that is a lot more fiddly and not as nice... thought i might as well say it since i thought of it!
