Is it possible to mail a fast food hamburger through the postal service?
I know it sounds odd but a friend and i were joking around and i started to wonder if it's allowed. So could i send, say, a whopper through the mail... and approximately how much would that cost???
It is allowed if you package it well, but unless you chill it, it won't be any good when your friend receives it. I am not sure where you can get it but I get medication from a mailorder pharmacy that needs to be refrigerated. They seal it in a Styrofoam pack and they put a couple freeze packs that were put in the freezer to tide it over. It works quite well and should be perfect for what you have in mind. Since the post office delivers packages whenever they dam well feel like it, you might want to use UPS or one of the couriers instead. Prices at UPS are quite competitive to USPS but the cost will more depend on the weight of the packaging than the burger itself.
BTW, why not send a decent burger when you do this, like In-N-Out?
