Compared to other juice machines, it is much easier to compare all of the Jack LaLanne juicers because there is very little that sets them apart. Appearance and size make up the major difference and even then the variation is very slight and sometimes difficult to pinpoint. It is wise to do some research before making any purchase. Knowing what you want or need and being knowledgeable in the different types of juicers that are available on the market today is a sure bet that you will end up getting your money's worth when it comes to the purchase of a home juicer.
When it comes to Jack LaLanne's power juicers, finding one that best fits your needs is fairly easy. All of the juicers are designed to be easy to use and maintain by the consumer. Detachable components are dishwasher safe so you don't have to worry about scrubbing them clean. Replacement parts are easy to order and super simple to switch out when needed. Parts like blades and filters can become damaged with time and with frequent use. Other parts like the lid with pulp guard and the pulp collector won't need replaced unless they are accidentally dropped and crack.
Jack's juicers come in similar sizes varying from the more compact Power Juicer Classic to the larger Power Juicer Elite. Prices range from $100 to $150 with the most expensive model being the larger Elite because it is designed to juice items like nuts or fruits and vegetables that contain pits, seeds, and cores. The Elite also has soy technology which enables you to make milk from ingredients like soy and nuts. Butters are also possible with the Elite model and much healthier when made at home with natural and fresh ingredients. The Jack LaLane Juicer Classic does lack a non-drip spout which is something you will need to consider if you want to keep the mess of juicing down to a minimum.
The appearance of a Jack LaLanne power juicer, though slightly different from one model to the other, basically consists of two choices: white plastic and stainless steel. The less expensive models are white plastic and the rest are stainless steel. The idea behind these simple yet very effective models is that they may be smaller than those old juicers you have seen in infomercials but they do come with loads of power to get any juicing job done right and they are compact in size because Jack wants you to be able to incorporate them into your kitchen just like any other appliance you may have around. They range from 15.5" to 16" tall so you can easily store it in your existing standard cupboards and pantry shelves.
