Watching HGTV, kitchen appliance in Europe with porthole window in it. What is it?
On House Hunters International, in Spain and England they had an appliance in the kitchen that has a porthole window in it. I was assuming it was a dishwasher but have not been able to find one like it. What is it?
Probably it was a washing machine. Alot of Europeans have a washer in the kitchen. It would have a round door in the front and be under the counter just like the other appliances. My Aunt and Uncle lived in England for several years and I found that detail odd when visiting them. I don't want to do my laundry in the kitchen. But then again, I have seen homes here in America where the laundry is in a bathroom. Gross.
