How should I clean the lid of my Oxo Good Grips salad spinner?
I misplaced the product manual for my Oxo Good Grips salad spinner. I'm concerned about how to clean the lid. I'm afraid to submerge it in water because it seems to have a concealed spring, as well as the hand pump, brake and lock. I'm thinking about just using a damp soapy cloth to clean it, a damp cloth to rinse it, and a Clorox wipe to clean and disinfect the outside. Does anyone have any other recommendations or, even better, the product manual that specifies how to clean the lid? Thanks.
The whole thing is "top rack" dishwasher safe, so however you want to hand wash should be fine.
I have hand washed mine and submerged it, and the lid has never held water, so it must be pretty well constructed. It is an OXO after all!
