Please any person with experience about these items. Thank you very much.
I have been working with Sculpey polymer clay for about 4 yrs now. I usually work with Super Sculpey (beige-pink) for my character sculpts. I get mine from my local arts and crafts store, ie, Michaels, AC Moore.
1) You can go to DickBlick to buy in bulk and they offer discounts when you do. You could also try the Sculpey.com site as well.
2)I usually work/condition the clay by hand although many people do use a pasta machine. It really depends on what you're creating. Most arts and crafts stores carry different machines for working with polymer clay.
3) I don't know about using a rotisserie oven. I cure my clay in my oven because I don't use it for baking food anyway, but an old toaster oven would work pretty good too. Just don't use it for any purpose other than for clay curing.
4) You could use cookie cutters. I sometimes use old lids from jars or bottle caps depending on how big I need the shape to be. Anything that can make a clean cut should work. Sometimes I also use the premade character faces also found in arts and craft stores...sometimes even Walmart has them.
5) Once again, check out DickBlick. They have 11 lb buckets. I get their catalog, but you can check out there site as well. See the link below.
Hope this helps.
