KitchenAid Mixer - 5qt Artisan or 6qt Pro?
So I'm in the process of deciding on purchasing either a KitchenAid 5qt Artisan - 525 watts or a 6qt Professional - 575 watts. The price difference between the two is a matter of 10-20 dollars. I am leaning toward the 6 qt but feel it is a bit of an overkill. In terms of usage, I may dabble into baking every few weeks, mostly cakes, pies, and may eventually make some bread (1 loaf at a time).
From reading reviews, with obvious reasons, the 6 qt pro is pretty load. From users experience, is it really that loud? Is it bearable?
So based on users opinion is it worth investing in the 6 quart pro mixer or stick with the 5 qt artisan mixer even when the price is comparable.

From personal experience I would go with the 325-watt Artisan. This is a good review on the Artisan, helped me decide and I couldn't be happier. Especially with the price.
