Finding avg temp of a given function in (F)?
Given the function T(t)=46+15(sin pi(t)/12). Find avg temp in F from the hours of 11am to 11pm. Round to nearest integer. So (t) is 12 hours.
I did different calculations but yet to find the right answer. any help would be great.
I was given (t) = 12 hours because 11 am to 11 pm is 12 there fore t = 12 hours from the instructor but have a problem with the integration of sin pi(t)/12 I have cos pi(t)/12(-12/pi) I don't know if that is correct
(t) is not 12. t ranges from 11 to 23.
To take the average over a range, integrate, and divide by the size of the range. So in this case,
...23
ƒ 46 + 15sin(πt÷12) ∂t ÷ 12
